A little background:
My career as a beauty editor started out at ELLEgirl more than twelve years ago. Since then I worked for several Dutch magazines like Red, ELLE and currently &C magazine. Over the years I’ve tried and tested hundreds, probably thousands, of beauty products and new discoveries still excite me.
What do you focus on curating beauty products?
It has to be love at first sight. Step one is an attractive packaging that makes it stand out. It’s the inside that counts so next I want to know all about the ingredients and if they work as promised.
Best beauty advice ever?
Skin comes first. Taking care of your skin, from the outside and the inside, is the key to a pretty glow. I swear by double cleansing, moisturizing oils and facial massage.
