Lesson 1: Vitamin C works best in its acid form called Ascorbic Acid. Lesson 2: Vitamin C becomes most active when it comes into contact with water, so when you wash off the product (as it is also not good to leave acid on the skin during the day). That's why Lixirskin formulated an innovative Vitamin C wash-off treatment which neutralizes oxidized sebum and proteins to refresh greyish, greenish and dull skin undertones plus gives you an instant glow and brightening effect. Improving skin Vitamin C and Vitamin E levels can also improve resistance to UV exposure (always add sunscreen though!) and regulates melanin production which causes hyperpigmentation. Lastly, Vitamin C is still enough absorbed to do the long-term job of boosting collagen production and protecting the skin's elastin, leaving your skin radiant and plumped in the long-run.
